Galaxy S11 Plus will be equipped with a 5000mAh large capacity battery
The Galaxy S11 Plus, which will debut in February next year, is expected to be equipped with a large 5000mAh battery. Citing foreign media reports from GalaxyClub, South Korean certification agency SafetyKorea has recently approved a new battery with the model number “EB-BG988ABY”. It can be seen in the accompanying publicity photos that the capacity has reached 5000mAh, and this battery will be equipped on the Galaxy S11 Plus.
This means that the upcoming Galaxy S11 Plus will be the one with the highest battery capacity among Samsung’s flagship phones. Currently, this title is won by the Galaxy S10 5G, which has a huge 4500mAh capacity battery. The Galaxy Note 10 Plus and Galaxy S10 Plus are 4300mAh and 4100mAh, respectively.
Although it has not been confirmed yet, Galaxy S11 Plus is expected to be equipped with the 45W fast charge technology that debuted on Note 10 Plus while equipped with a 5000mAh super-large battery. In addition, S11 Plus is also expected to support fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging technology to charge Galaxy Buds or wireless headphones.
If the Galaxy S10 Plus is equipped with a 5000mAh large battery, it will undoubtedly bring significant battery life improvement, but foreign media believes that it cannot be guaranteed on the S11 Plus.
