In the field of big-screen TVs, LG has a slight advantage in the market. But in the mobile market, Samsung’s OLED technology is dominant. After the release of the new flagship every year, reviewers are often able to give Samsung the highest score in the industry, whether it is Samsung’s own Galaxy series or the latest iPhone. Foreign media reported that the Galaxy S11, which will be launched in the first half of next year, is expected to bring a better experience than ever before. And this is due to the introduction of new technologies on mainstream devices.
In the past few years, some Android smartphone manufacturers have equipped high-speed display (standard 60Hz) on the flagship game smartphone.
Although other configurations are comparable to the Galaxy S or Note smartphones released in the same year, the high refresh rate of 90 or even 120 Hz can give users even more enjoyment.
This year, manufacturers such as OnePlus and Google have already launched smart phones with a 90Hz refresh rate. But neither the OnePlus 7 / 7 Pro nor the Pixel 4 are sold in the name of gaming equipment.
In view of this, Samsung is expected to equip some of the Galaxy S11 models released next year with the same technology. Some insiders speculate that Samsung may raise the refresh rate to 120Hz instead of 90Hz.
Combined with earlier rumors, Samsung is also expected to equip the Galaxy S11 with a larger capacity battery, which will help improve the battery life of the 5G network and 120Hz high refresh rate mode.
Finally, in addition to the Galaxy S11 in the first half of next year, Note 11 in the second half of next year and Apple’s iPhone 12 are also expected to be equipped with a 120Hz high refresh rate display.
