Valheim is coming to PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass

Presenting on the infographic shared by Microsoft during the Xbox & Bethesda showcase, we naively thought that Valheim was going to land on the PC Game Pass. We weren’t totally wrong since the game will be landing on the service next fall, but what we didn’t anticipate was the arrival of the Iron Gate game on the Xbox Game Pass for a release scheduled for spring 2023.

And the Swedish developers will not do things by halves since the title will be playable in cross-play, which will allow Xbox and PC players to find each other. The Xbox port is currently underway at Scandinavian studio Piktiv, backed by Germany’s Deep Silver Fishlabs.

We take this opportunity to remind you that this adventure game was a huge success when it was released in Early Access on Steam at the beginning of last year, and therefore despite the fact that the game is playable in a non-final version. The game will put us in the shoes of a Viking who will have to explore the mysterious lands of Valheim and try to overcome Eikthyr, solo or in cooperation.
