Vampyr releases for Nintendo Switch on October 29
The story follows Jonathan Reid, who will return to London after the Great War. He wakes up like a vampire in a mass grave and has to deal with his new powers and abilities, as well as with the thirst for blood. As an action role-playing game, this title explores vampire skills to the fullest. As a doctor, Reid continues his practice and keeps his vampire character secret, as he takes care of more than 60 people in his community. The game works in part as an open-world role-playing game. Players can also increase and expand the character’s skill set through their skill tree, although some innovations in that part could be implemented in the Nintendo Switch version.
Vampyr – Nintendo Switch Release Date Trailer
The development of the Vampyr video game took a particularly winding path. It started with a small team of people who previously worked on the graphic video adventure Life Is Strange. After some deliberations, the writers, led by Stéphane Beauverger, decided to set the stage at the beginning of the 20th century in London, during the Spanish flu pandemic in 1918. The artistic style, signed by Phil Hale, and the atmosphere that the game won in general. he praised more, while the game in general also managed to win over IGN Italia, who gave him a 9/10, and N3RDABL3 who gave him a perfect 10/10.
The original edition presents a third person view, which is also the case with Switch. The launch date of Vampyr is set for October 29, 2019, and in less than two months we will see if the Nintendo portable console can infuse this title with a new charm. In Nintendo Store, the price is set at $ 49.99, so far there are no pre-orders.
