How to Climb the ladder at the end of the Season on League of Legends
When you want to start the ranked grind on the last days of the season, things get a bit harder because of different factors.
It’s a little different because the top Challenger and Grandmaster brackets are trying to keep the few slots they have and will troll more at the end of the season and the players that are Gold already and don’t want to get higher divisions will troll your games just so you can’t get Gold to get your rewards.
Most people make their last ranked pushes at the end of the season, and there are smurfs and boosters in lower queues for most of the games, which makes the games much harder than before, so it’s harder to climb at the end of the season even more so in the last few days.
Then, if rank is a measure of skill level, midseason rank would be higher than it should be since most players aren’t playing at their best.
These are the 5 most useful tips to make sure you can get that final push at the end of the season and possibly get the rank you desire before the season ends in League of Legends.
1. Solidify your champion pool
In League of Legends, it’s important to keep your champion pool small so you can always play to your champion’s strengths. Someone who plays the same champion or set of champions over and over again will be better than someone who plays every champion in the game.
One of the main reasons for this is that the person playing that champion will have a lot of experience.
Let’s say you play 30–50 champions in League of Legends. If you are laning against an enemy with a small number of champions, it will be much harder to beat them because you don’t have as much experience with their champions (because you play so many different champions).
Try to limit how many champions you take into rank instead of playing every champion in the game. Three champions in your main role is a good number to go by.
This will give you the freedom to switch to a different champion when your first choice is in a tough matchup. It also gives you enough room to get back at the enemy.
If you really don’t like playing with only 3 champions, or find that you get bored or need to change things up often, you can play with up to 5 champions. If you can help it, don’t go over this number.
In the future, you may want to change champions if they stop being popular or if you stop doing well on them. When this happens, switch and change as needed to stay at your best. But I wouldn’t suggest giving up so quickly at the beginning of the season.
2- Always keep update with new patches and builds
If you haven’t been paying attention, during the pre-season Riot added, changed, and took away a lot of game items.
Mythic items are a new type of item that every champion should now buy. Each build can only have one Mythic item, and each one has different benefits.

Also, make sure you’re making the right items for your champion. Check out our build suggestions for each of the game’s champions to get ahead of the competition. If you don’t build the best items in the right order, you won’t be able to keep up with the enemy.
Before going into rank, you should try to learn what each of the new items does. If you know what each one does, it will be much easier to build your champion and play against the enemy.
3. Don’t try to play ranked right away if you don’t want to.
This is more friendly advice than a tip. Do not feel like you have to play ranked at the beginning of the season if you are not ready or don’t think you are good enough.
When you do your placements, you can get a lot of free LP, so it’s important to play well and get off to a good start.
Don’t play the game or your placements just because your friends or other players are. The climb is not a sprint, but a marathon. Get off to the best possible start and begin when you’re ready. No need to hurry.
4. Don’t play too many games at once.
On the first day of a new season, it’s pretty common for players to grind a lot of games. Since you have to play 10 games to get placed, it makes sense that players will try to get them done as quickly as possible.
Do not make the mistake of playing all of your placement games at the start of the season (or at least not play all 10 games on the first day). Instead, try to play over the course of two or three days.
If you play at most 5 games, your chances of winning more games will go up. If you lose a few games in a row, take a break and stop playing for the day.
If you play 10 games in a row, you hurt your chances of getting a good starting rank because you’ll play worse after the first few games because you’re tired.
In the same way, if you lose several games in a row, your game will get worse and worse as you play more games. At this point, your mind will start to change because of your losses, which is always a big problem.
5. Find a good duo to play with
Having someone playing with you with the same goal as you it’s super important, if you duo with someone that is playing to win, don’t tilt or flame and help you carry the game, will make the games easier and the probability of you winning the game is much higher.
An extra push at the end of the season with a good duo booster as an example is a good way to get the final rank you want. The booster will always play to win and even teach you some things about the game that you didn’t know about before, find out more info of duo and solo boost at Eloboostleague.com
