Wait, What Happened In Season 2 Again? Remind Me!

The One Where Devi Tries To Date Both Paxton And Ben:

Season 2 was crazy, considering how two hot young men were vying for Devi’s time and attention. While both Ben and Paxton try to win Devi’s heart, Devi ends up confused between the two hotties and ends up dating both…at the same time. Of course, everyone finds out, and Devi undergoes not one but two breakups. 

New Season New Character:

Season 2 also marked the entry of a new character, Aneesa! Another Indian girl, just like Devi, Aneesa’s sheer confidence and radiance, soon starts posing a threat to Devi’s bleak popularity in school. And then Devi had to watch Aneesa kiss Biss, eventually becoming a couple. Jealous much, dear Devi?

Paxton Is Not Dumb:

Yes, yes, Paxton is hot, and he can be dumb, considering you can just stare at him whenever you are bored. But Paxton is not dumb – a beauty with brains! This is the best part of Never Have I Ever. The show never replicates common rom-com tropes, instead, the show subverts the same subtly. Paxton actually blackmails Devi and gets all his grades up! 

There’s Drama In The Vishwakumar Household:

While Devi’s life becomes quiet happening in the second season of Never Have I Ever, she is not the only one going through much romantic drama. Devi’s mother, Nalini, also has a few romantic encounters with another dermatologist known as Chris Jackson. And last but not least, we also see Kamala attempting to balance work and a relationship that might just fail. 

Cool-Cool-Cool. Who’s Coming Back From The Cast?

Obviously, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is coming back – how can we even have a show on Devi’s life without Devi herself? Since Devi happens to be Paxton’s girlfriend now, there’s no reason for Darren Barnet not to come back for the third time! After all, we all deserve to see more of shirtless Paxton in the new season. 

Apart from our favorite Daxton making a debut, we can confirm that Devi’s other romantic interest Ben, Devi’s family, and the girl gang will be making a coming back – this means Jaren Lewison, Ramona Young, Lee Rodriguez, Poorna Jagannathan, and Richa Moorjani are all coming back!

What To Look Forward To In Netflix’s Never Have I Ever Season 3?

We have seen the official trailer and the latest season of the hit Netflix original, and we can definitely say it was LIT! Check out the top highlights of season 3 below – and if you don’t want spoilers, it’s time to get out of here!

1. The trailer has already made it clear that Daxton is a real thing now. So get ready to watch Devi and Paxton finally navigate how a real relationship works out. Now the only question is whether the two will disappear into the sunset together or Devi will blow it all out of proportion.

1. Then there’s our other favorite Indian girl, Kamala! Season 3 will also tell us what happens after Kamala runs away from a possible marriage proposal. Does Kamala get married, or is there something brewing between Kamala and Devi’s high school teacher, who’s clearly smitten by her? 

1. What about Ben and Aneesa? Does the relationship survive over another season, or does Ben’s jealousy over Devi’s relationship with Paxton finally get out of hand? Most importantly, does Devi end up with Paxton or Ben? 

1. Lastly, it seems like a few new Indian characters will make an appearance. For instance, Devi’s mother, Nalini, befriends another Indian woman, similar to her situation with a son – an Indian son with incredible hotness. Will he join Devi’s list of suitors? If he does, then what does it mean for our dear Daxton?

Never Have I Ever is a pretty cool show, and we absolutely loved the new season. Devi’s kickass personality, her love for pop culture, and her eccentric friends – all of it blend together, and Netflix ends up delivering a kickass show.
