NBA 2K21 Update 1.009.000 Patch For PS5, Xbox Series X / S

2K Sports today released a new update to NBA 2K21 targeted for the X / S versions of the PS5 and Xbox series of the game. If you have the PS5 copy it will show version number 1,009,000. There doesn’t seem to be an update to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game yet.

While full patch notes for the update have not yet been released, 2K Sports has posted some notes on the official Twitter page for the game. NBA 2K21 update 1.009.000 patch notes released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players. You can read the little details below.

NBA 2K21 Update 1,009,000 Patch Notes (PS5 and Xbox Series X / S)

Improved lighting and shadows for players in The City during daytime hours
Fixed an issue resulting in slow startup times for some PS5 users. Further improvements will follow
Fixed a potential issue in My NBA Online when accepting trade offers

However, be careful when downloading this new update as some users have problems with it. The loading screen gets stuck for some people and all they see is a picture of Zion Williamson. We will update this post as more patch notes are released.
