DEATH STRANDING Briefing Trailer

Review and Trailer for Death Stranding

The Death Stranding is an action game with online options that takes place in an open world. Kojima compared the genre to how his former game Metal Gear, which is now known as a stealth game, was called an action game when it came out because no one knew there was a stealth genre.

It is the first game that director Hideo Kojima has worked on with Kojima Productions since he left Konami in 2015. It was shown off at E3 2016 and came out on November 8, 2019.

Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Margaret Qualley, Tommie Earl Jenkins, Troy Baker, and Lindsay Wagner were the actors who handled the motion capture, 3D scans, and voice work. Additionally, movie makers Guillermo del Toro and Nicolas Winding Refn took the stage at the same time. The title refers to the event of whale strandings, which are a theme in the game.

GAMEPLAY:

Kojima says that the idea of a link between life and death was one of the most important parts of the advance of the news. He used a short story about Kōbō Abe to explain one of the main ideas. The first tool people made was a stick, which meant protection by putting something between you and bad things, and the second was a rope, which was used to keep the things you care about safe.

Kojima said that the main “tools” in action games are like sticks: hits, shots, and kicks. In Death Stranding, he wants people to talk to each other through the string-like game. Even though the title talks about cetaceans getting stuck on the beach, “strand” can also mean “shore” or “chains and connections.”

Death stranding game-play TRAILER:

Now, enjoy the latest Death Stranding trailer.

The trailer starts with a comforting Mikkelsen singing to a baby. Then we see a picture of our hero Sam Bridges’ family. Then we cut to Sam (Norman Reedus), who was riding a motorbike through a lush mountain area while crows flew around him. Next, Lindsey Wagner is president, and she is clearly sick. Sam says, “The United States is over.”

From there, things only get stranger. The Death Stranding trailer makes it look like Sam’s job as a messenger will include using tools like stairs and climbing hooks to explore the world and avoid enemies who chase him with big electric spears before punching them in the face.

The thought of traveling through time was also looked at again, this time with what seemed to be a part of World War I, but it was filled with black matter, and Lindsey Wagner’s character saw herself as both old and young.

The goal of Death Stranding, a brand-new type of action game, is to bring together broken towns and a society that is spread out. The theme of “Strand” connects everything about it, from the past to the game play. Like Sam Porter Bridges, you will try to bring people together and make new connections, or “Strands,” with other players from around the world. I hope that by playing the game, you’ve learned how important it is to connect with other people.

Death Stranding was very present at Gamescom 2019; famous game designer and author Hideo Kojima showed off his newest work with a new trailer game show and a bunch of ads that, to be honest, make us want to know more about the next PS4 game than they give us. What role does Mama’s new character play in all those Death Stranding story theories? Is the fact that the game isn’t perfect a sign that Death Stranding might not come out on time? Are there any signs in the clip that the game will come out on PS5?
