Apple New MacBook Air with scissor keyboard released on next week
News on March 14th, Apple is expected to launch the MacBook Air refresh product with scissor keyboard as soon as next week. In a recent research report, well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that Apple will launch the new MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro models in the second quarter of 2020.
According to reports, Apple plans to launch the refreshed MacBook models on April 1st and announce the matter about two weeks in advance. Unfortunately, we don’t know more details beyond that.
Foreign media pointed out that the source had a reliable record of breaking news in March 2019, when it hinted that the new iPad would be launched before the iPad mini / iPad Air product line.
Closer to home, Apple previously updated the MacBook Air with a Touch ID sensor, True Tone display, and a butterfly keyboard in October 2019.
Kuo first predicted that Apple will replace all its models with scissor keyboards starting in July 2019. Eventually, this change first occurred on the 16-inch MacBook Pro in November.
Although the timetable has undergone many adjustments, Apple may switch to smaller MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models with scissor keyboards this year.
On March 3, Kuo also wrote: The smaller MacBook Pro models are expected to use the new 14.1-inch display and updated keyboard.
It’s unclear when the device will officially arrive, but Kuo still expects it to be released in the second quarter of this year.
