FIFA 23 RELEASE DATE, CROSS-PLAY, NEW HERO CARDS

While EA Sports have not officially revealed it, FIFA 23 is again the victim of a massive leak, allowing us to know a little more about it.

A short time ago, a leak indicated that the collective in FIFA 23 would be completely revised, removing the green links, in particular. At the beginning of June, a new wave of unofficial information appeared on the web, giving potential clues to the changes of this opus, which has still not been formalized and which will be the last FIFA under the aegis of Electronic Arts.

NEW LEAKS FOR FIFA 23

Among the exciting things to take away from this leak coming from FUTZone, we can mention the release date, which seems to be scheduled for September 30, on all platforms. Note that nothing is surprising about this date, given that the annual iteration of FIFA has been released on the last Friday of September for many years, except the last two, due to COVID-19. Everything will be done on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch, with the Legacy version for the latter.

Cross-play is also expected to be on the cards, which is no surprise considering the feature is currently being tested on FIFA 22. However, PS4 and Xbox One players would be excluded and could not take advantage of it to play with their friends.

Regarding the jacket, we should, for the third consecutive year, see the French, Kylian Mbappé, who recently extended his adventure with PSG. Finally, the last vital information to remember from this leak is that the Hero cards are back in another format. No detail were provided. Still, the system should evolve to offer cards that progress over time. It remains to be seen how, given that the players represented are no longer active and will therefore not be able to stand out from the others during the weekend.

We should discover FIFA 23 more officially in a few weeks, during this summer, when EA Sports has chosen to reveal the annual opus.
