Fortnite Latest Update 2.66 – Patch Notes 12.30.1

Epic Games has taken the servers offline, a new Fortnite update is released. Maintenance update 12.30.1 is coming to Fortnite Battle Royale and Save the World on April 8.

Unusually, however, despite not being a full update, the patch will be released during the server from maintenance from 7 am UK time.
It’s unlikely to be a big update, so expect the game to be back online by 9 am BST at the latest.

The news was announced by Epic Games on Twitter: “Hi, everyone. We have a maintenance patch requiring downtime scheduled to release on April 8. “Downtime will begin at 2 AM ET (0600 UTC). We’ll provide updates both when downtime begins and ends.”

The Fortnite update 2.66 can be downloaded now for all platforms. You have to download a total of 1.1 GB, at least on the PS4. The size of the download may vary depending on the platform.

There seem to be no official patch notes yet! So far, the following is known:

  • Crash when changing styles for cosmetics in the Locker.
  • Controllers may not vibrate when the player takes damage.
  • Codaxe Pickaxe disabled.
  • Low-quality PS4 map textures.
  • Stability fixes to improve Fortnite.

Fortnite Battle Royale Epic Games is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
