Previously, we could achieve a similar effect with the headphone splitter. However, it was known that the splitters distorted the audio quality and were quite unreliable. The audio sharing on iOS 13 is really futuristic and allows users to share music with two AirPods or Beats PowerBeats Pro. This is the perfect solution to watch movies or listen to music with your partner. In addition, Audio Sharing offers separate audio controls for individual listeners!

The Audio Share feature was originally announced for iOS 13, however, it was introduced in iOS 13.1. In fact, it is one of several functions that moved to iOS 13.1, which will be released on September 24.

Engadget reports that the Music Sharing feature will also work on headphones other than AirPods and Beats PowerBeats Pro. It is known that the Music Sharing feature will work on all Beats headphones with Apple W1 and H1 chip technology.

This means that the audio sharing feature will be available in BeatsX, Powerbeats3 Wireless, Solo3 and Studio3 Wireless. According to the report, the music sharing feature will be available on Beats headphones starting September 23, just one day before Apple launches iOS 13.1.
