Minecraft Earth developers, Mojang, announced today on Twitter that Minecraft Beta is currently live for all Android phones capable of running augmented reality (AR-core) with Android 7 or higher to play. However, the closed beta version is by invitation only and you should receive an invitation from a friend or register on the Minecraft website (link at the end). So, if you live in one of the launch cities, you can start playing the exciting new augmented reality mobile game immediately.
Minecraft Earth is basically an advanced version of Pokemon GO where you can create new compilations simply by using your mobile phone on the fly in augmented reality. For example, while walking through your neighborhood, you see a patch of grass or an open field where you walk every day, you can simply take out your phone and create a beautiful Minecraft building. You, along with other Earth players, will be able to see incredible constructions of Minecraft Earth in that place every day.

What is minecraft earth?
Minecraft Earth is a block and adventure building game, much like the existing Minecraft for PCs, consoles and mobile devices. The difference is that it is designed exclusively for Android and iOS and uses augmented reality to superimpose Minecraft creations in the real world.
You can use your smartphone to create creations anywhere you want, placing them in parks, streets, even around and on top of your home. Then, other Minecraft Earth users can hold their phones and see them.
It’s not just a solo experience either. You can collaborate on compilations with friends or artisans of colleagues, with each of you using a tablet or phone to build and view the ongoing project.
