Officially, NBA 2K21 will be available on September 4, for PS4 and Xbox One, with a next-gen release when the PS5 and Xbox Series X release comes out.

2K charges an upgrade with the Mamba Forever version of NBA 2K21 which will cost £ 84.99 and will allow access to the current and next-generation versions of the game. While there is a cost to access both versions, all progression will be shared across the platform families, so you don’t need to start over again, you should start NBA 2K21 on the PS4 / Xbox One and then move on to the PS5 / Xbox Series X.
