Call of Duty Season 3 only went live not long ago in Black Ops Cold War and players have already had some issues with the game’s online server. That said, it’s only natural for the game to have a few server issues as thousands, if not more, of players, are trying to log into the game at the same time to experience the new season.
Below we’ll look at how you can verify that the game’s server is up and running properly, or that something is indeed wrong with Activision’s end. Here’s how to check the status of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s servers.
Call of Duty: How to check server status in Black Ops Cold War
To get things started you must immediately visit Activision’s online services support page and take a look at the right side of your screen. You will see a drop-down box that lists all of your products’ currently active servers.
Click on it and select “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War” from all options. Immediately afterwards, all the information you need will be displayed right in front of you, including the server status.
If everything works as usual and the server is online as desired, a green tick icon will appear with the message “Online” directly below it. If the server happens to be overloaded or the company is having problems, the text message should show whatever is needed accordingly.
All of these should matter if the problem is on the Black Ops Cold War side. So if you are having connection issues and the game’s server status is actually online, you can check your own internet or even your own device. Lastly, you may want to follow them on one of their social media channels so you can check out any announcements they may have made regarding the status of the game. Most of the time, they all post information about these platforms, so give it a try too.
